This is an illustration in the hand made journal I took with me to New York in May. As I was walking over the Brooklyn Bridge I took a photo of this skyline, and used that photo as reference for this ink and watercolor illustration.
Regards from Gandia, this one is a handkerchief(scarf) and now with Internet furthermore(moreover). He(she) excuses my Englishman(English), is of a program translator. I repeat, a greeting.
Throughout my life, I have pursued various forms of creative expression: painting, illustration, designing ways of teaching that use the arts as the learning vehicle, and writing.
Most of the small oil paintings on this blog have been inspired by my own personal journal. I look upon my life as a reflective journey, and record it with images and words.
‘The Reflective Journey’ is the name of a workshop I created and teach; it is a place where we explore various ways to document both the inner and outer journey through drawing, painting and the written word; developing an expanded awareness of all the senses, enhancing the memory and enriching all life experiences. I can look at the pages of my journals, at the little sketches and paintings, and the words I wrote with them, and in that moment, I can be transported back to the time and place that I created them.
